<br />City ofCenterviUe <br />COUDcil Meeting Minutes <br />July 25. 2007 <br />City Administrator Larson stated that he is lookjng for direction from Council on the issue <br />ofFairview Street. He explained that this street is near a trucking operation and staff is <br />looking for direction whether the road should be restricted or if the wear coat sJwuld be <br />applied. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Consensus was to apply the wear course per City Engineer Statz's recommendation. <br /> <br />2. Fu:~ Sf.C1eli.J18 l".nmmittee <br /> <br />Counci1member Lakso reported that the 2008 budget was approved by the Fire Steering <br />Committee for $806,890. She explained that Centerville is responsible for 13 percent of <br />the budget. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pur asked about the grant applied for to cover fire suits. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso replied that there was no news on the grant. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso stated that the committee agreed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso reported that Safety Camp would be held on August 9, 2007 from <br />9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Rice Lake Elementary SchooL <br /> <br />X.
