CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />1.City of Centerville June 14, 2007 through June 27, 2007 Claims <br /> <br />2.Centennial Fire Department Claims through June 19, 2007 <br /> <br />3.Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims through June 14, 2007 <br /> <br />4.Parks & Recreation Committee’s Recommendation to Purchase Supplies for 1601 <br />LaMotte Drive Checker Board – Not to Exceed $100 <br /> <br />5.Parks & Recreation Committee’s Recommendation to Purchase Signage for 1601 <br />LaMotte Drive (4 “Private Property, No Trespassing & 4 “No Fishing, Wading or <br />Swimming”) – Signs will be consistent with all other city signage of same type. <br /> <br />6.Parks & Recreation Committee’s Recommendation for Previous Motion <br />Clarification Relating to Mr. Trevor Weigel’s Eagle Scout Project With Entire <br />Project Being Funded by the City – Not to Exceed $500 <br /> <br />7.Parks & Recreation Committee’s Request for Public Works to Install Retaining <br />Blocks & Soil Similar to LaMotte Park’s (Eagle Project) Monument Sign/Flower <br />Bed <br /> <br />8.Parks & Recreation Committee’s Request for Funding for National Night Out <br />Event at 1601 LaMotte Park – Not to Exceed $50 (Mailings & Lemonade) <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee requested that Item 5 be pulled for discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to <br />approve the Consent Agenda items as amended. All in favor. Motions carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />5.Parks & Recreation Committee’s Recommendation to Purchase Signage for 1601 <br />LaMotte Drive (4 “Private Property, No Trespassing & 4 “No Fishing, Wading or <br />Swimming”) – Signs will be consistent with all other city signage of same type. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee commented that he did not want to destroy the shoreline; however, <br />he could not see spending the large amount of money on the park and not be able to fish. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard questioned whether the no fishing policy should remain until <br />the shoreline was well established. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 11 <br />
