Application of Multi Web Converting for a Pennit to Build in a B-1 Zoning District City Administrator Larson explained that staff received an application from Multi Web Converting for a permit to build a 12,000 square foot facility for their company's use. He explained that this is to be a printing business. He stated that the permit requires a site- plan review by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. City Administrator Larson explained that the question to answer is whether this is an approved use in a B-1 zoning district. Mr. Dan Gabrielson, Multi Web Converting, described the company's products and expansion plans. Commissioner Fehrenbacher questioned if all production would be done at this location. Mr. Gabrielson replied yes, as it is all custom work. Vice Chair Klennert-Hunt questioned if the company was moving from another location. Mr. Gabrielson replied that they are moving from Roseville. He stated the Centerville site would be their only location. He commented that they are currently leasing and would now like to purchase a building. Chair Hanson requested the hours of operation. Mr. Gabrielson replied that they currently run two shifts and the front desk is manned during the day. Commissioner Fehrenbacher inquired about the number of jobs that would be added. Page 3 of4
