<br />City ofCenterville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 12, 2007 <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee asked what the change order was for. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz replied that it is to locate, expose, remove, and replace the bolts on the <br />existing water main. <br /> <br />Motion bv Conncil Member Lakso. seconded bv Council Member Paar to approve <br />Gustafson Excavatin!!. Inc. Chan!!e Order #1 - Fairview Street Improvements - <br />$4.720.00. All in favor. Motions carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />VI. A W ARDSIPRESENT A nONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Anoka County Economic Development Authority <br />a. Resolution #07-XXX - Electing to Participate in the Anoka County <br />Housing & Redevelopment Authority <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson listed the cities that would participate in the Anoka County <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority project. He stated that the EDA would not market <br />the County and the County's response was it was not stuff they wanted to do. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded by Council Member Lakso. to direct staff <br />to notify Anoka County of Council decision to not participate in the Anoka County <br />Housin!! & Redevelopment Authoritv at this time. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Viet & Company, Inc. Pay Request #3 - Hidden Spring Park Improvements - <br />$50.1 99.04. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra reported that she met at Hidden Spring Park with the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District, Bonestroo, and City Administrator Larson to discuss the City's concerns. She <br />reported that Bonestroo noted the concerns and indicated they would ensure Viet & <br />Company worked together with them on these concerns. She indicated that Bonestroo <br />recommended withholding payment for two weeks. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar. seconded by Council Member Lee. to table the Viet <br />& Company.
