City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 22, 2007 <br />City Engineer Statz presented information on the City’s portion of the cost estimate. He <br />stated that the final cost estimate for the project would be approximately $1.2 million <br />including the downtown streetscaping. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to <br />approve the Award Part II of Bids Anoka County CSAH 14 Project – Revised Project <br />Estimate to North Pine Agrigate in the amount of $517,000. Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 1 <br />(Broussard) Motion carried. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator Larson – No Report <br /> <br />2. Red Cross Update <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso reported that CPR Saturdays begin in late September or early <br />October. She stated that the Red Cross would begin training sessions on various safety and <br />disaster preparedness topics. She stated that information would be in the paper and <br />pamphlets are available at City Hall and Corner Express. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso reported that on Tuesday August 28, 2007, Centerville would be at <br />the Red Cross Booth at the Minnesota State Fair. <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar announced that Centerville Road would be closed because of a <br />culvert repair from August 27-29, 2007. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra thanked the volunteers who distributed information on the debris removal in <br />the City. She thanked City staff for their hard work also. <br /> <br />X. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar, to adjourn <br />the August 8, 2007 City Council Meeting at 8:10 p.m. All in favor.
