<br /> <br />1880 9dIda StieBt, Cer#et'oiIIi. __ SS0.38 <br />6S1-429-J:l,JZ M'FiIJt6S1-4Z9-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1107-81/L <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CONFI.RMING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ON <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO FAlRVIEW STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of CenterviUe entered into special assessment agreements with <br />property owners requesting to improvemeJtt ofpart ofFairview Street, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such assessment agreements provided a cost share to each property owner, <br />based upon the engineer's estimate of constroction cost of$21',441 and total project cost <br />of$282,613 , and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the improvement was ordered by action of the Council and plans drawn by <br />the City Engineer and plans approved by the Council, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract was let for construction of the project in accordance with such <br />plans, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the project was subsequently completed with actual project costs being <br />almost exactly at the estimate provided by the Engineer. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNcn. OF <br />CENTERV{(.l.1i'.., MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby determines that the total construction cost is <br />$215,724, total project cost is $282,613 and that cost to assess shall be the <br />amount contained in the assessment agreements attached hereto. <br />2. The special assessD'le1lt principal shall be payable in equal installments <br />over (10) ten years, plus six and one-half percent (6.50") interest on the <br />unpaid balance. lJtterest shall begin accruins on September 1, 2001, <br />however any property ownerttlay prepay without interest charge on any <br />amount paid prior to November 1S, 2001. Bach instAUment orthe special <br />assessment principal and interest will be certified to the county. and <br />become due and payable ontbe same schedule as the property taxes for <br />the Subject Property beginning in 2008. Default by failure to pay any <br />amount of an inst811ment or interest when due shall C8\1Se the balance of <br />
