<br />City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 14, 2007 <br />a Resolution #07-044 - Scheduling Public Hearing to Consider Vacation of <br />Easements <br /> <br />city Administrator Larson informed Council that the request included a variance because <br />the lakeside frontage did not meet the minimum requirement of 100 feet. He displayed <br />the preliminary plat of Sorel Street and explained the request. He pointed out the location <br />of the easements to be vacated. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Council member Broussard noted that the adjoining property owner believers that there is <br />a survey discrepancy on one comer of the plat. She stated that she wanted to make sure <br />all the variances required are done at the same time. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied that Council is only looking at the lake frontage <br />variance at this time, but that it is possible that setback non-conformities could be created <br />if the survey comer moves. <br /> <br />Mr. Lloyd Hanson, 1588 Sorel Street, commented the two surveyors communicated and <br />the amount is ten inches rather than two feet.
