Transportation Demand Management Coordinator. <br />Anoka County Transportation Management Organization. <br /> <br />Ms. Sande distributed examples and samples of what the Transportation Management <br />Organization does. She explained how the organization is funded and its mission. <br /> <br />Ms. Sande discussed road construction and the projects occurring in the County. She <br />stated these projects include the Highway 651242/County Road 14 Strategic <br />Communications Promotional Plan, and the Highway 242/65 Interchange Project. <br /> <br />Ms. Sande explained how the Anoka County Transportation Management Organization <br />works with businesses to advertise that businesses are open during construction. She <br />provided samples of the advertising options such as brochures, mailers, and newspaper <br />articles. <br /> <br />Commissioner Paar recommended information be included in the monthly utility billings <br />and as articles in the local newspapers. <br /> <br />Commissioner Capra recommended the EDA President contact the businesses to <br />determine their needs. <br /> <br />Page2of3 <br /> <br />/l- <br />
