PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />1. Truth and T~tion <br /> <br />Mayor Capra opened the Truth in Taxation Public Hearing at 6:33 p.m. <br /> <br />Finance Director Meyer presented information on the 2008 General Fund Budget and Tax <br />Levy. He indicated the 2008 General Fund Budget and Tax Levy is scheduled for <br />adoption at the December 26, 2008 City Council meeting4 <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that 45% of the budget is spent on Police and Fire. <br /> <br />Finance Director Meyer replied that was correct. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Paar. seconded bv Council Member Broussard. to close <br />tbe December 12. 2007 Tfllth in TA'Jf'tioD ~blic fleariD,.
