City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 13, 2005 <br /> 6. Consider Technology Recommendations <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff feels that the technology is <br />affordable under the budget combined with this year and some strategic budgeting <br />for next year. <br />Council Member Paar indicated he has heard a lot of complaints about the City’s <br />recordkeeping so spending some funds on technology would help. <br />Mayor Capra said she feels this will save in Staff time. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway to <br />approve technology and automation improvements as presented by Staff. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />7. Centerville Lion’s Request for Fireworks Display Permit – Fete des Lacs <br />City Administrator Larson confirmed that the City is listed as a co-insured. <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to <br />approve the Centerville Lion’s Request for Fireworks Display Permit as <br />requested. All in favor.Motion carried unanimously. <br />8. Centerville Lion’s Request for Temporary Liquor License - Fete des Lacs <br />Council discussed the request and agreed to amend the license to sales ending at <br />11:30 p.m. on Saturday night and beginning at noon on Sunday. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway to <br />approve the Temporary Liquor License for the Centerville Lion’s for Fete <br />des Lacs for 3.2 Malt Liquor on Friday August 5, 2005 from 5:00 to 11:00 <br />p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., and Sunday, <br />August 7, 2005 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />9. Mr. Tom Babcook Reconsideration of Joining/Appointment to EDC <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway, to <br />accept the resignation/ removal of Tom Babcook from the EDC. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously <br />. <br />10.
