<br />Street Name List <br />Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to approve the street naming list with <br />noted changes and contingent upon Police and Fire approval, and to send letters of appreciation <br />to the committee members. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Sager's Liquor License Consideration <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved and it was seconded to approve Sager's Liquor License <br />contingent upon the State Liquor Controls' approval of an off sale liquor license. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Senior Housing <br />Councilmember Brenner reported the Senior Housing open house is scheduled for Thursday, June <br />11, 1998, at 11:0Q a.m. <br /> <br />Business Appreciation Dinner <br />Mayor Wilharber reported the Business Appreciation Dinner was held on May 19, and everything <br />went well. In addition, thanks was extended to the EDC Committee for its help. Mayor <br />Wilharber mentioned it was nice to see new and existing business owners at the dinner. <br /> <br />Garage Sale Days <br />Mayor Wilharber commented Garage Sale Days was held on May 15, and 16th. More than 100 <br />garage sales were conducted by participating residents. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> <br />Investment Policy <br />In short, Mr. March submitted an investment policy for Council consideration, at a later date. <br /> <br />Local Performance Aid <br />Mr. March briefly explained the City plans to participate with the state Local Performance Aid <br />(LP A), to receive State revenue. <br /> <br />Water Sewer Rate Analysis <br />Mr. March presented a water/sewer rate analysis for Council consideration. Councilmember <br />Buckbee suggested investigating other communities' policies and procedures in regards to <br />applying flat sewer rates among the residents. Councilmember Buckbee noted in the past <br />residents have questioned the option of metering sewer flowage instead of applying flat rates. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />5 <br />
