<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25,1998 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held its <br />regularly scheduled Council meeting on Wednesday, March 25, 1998 at City Hall, 1880 Main <br />Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Members: Sanna Buckbee <br />Mary Jo Helmbrecht <br />Theresa Brenner <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Laura Powers <br /> <br />STAFF/CONSULTANTS: Jim March, Administrator <br />Ken Cook, Building Inspector <br />Greg Hellings, Attorney <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.rn. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Special Use Permit - Performance Automotive - Operate Business <br />Mr. Ken Strantz (Performance Automotive, 7139 20th Avenue) gave a presentation requesting a <br />special use permit to continue operating the existing business at the current location. The Council <br />noted the Planning Commission recommended approval of the special use permit request. <br /> <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht moved and it was seconded to apmove Ken Strantz special use <br />permit request. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Special Use Permit - Performance Automotive - Construct Wood Building <br />Mr. Strantz gave a presentation requesting to construct a wood frame building next to his current <br />building, located at 7139-20th Avenue. Mr. Strantz commented he !.;vas present at the February <br />Planning Commission meeting and requested approval of the special use permit. Furthermore, the <br />Planning Commission made recommendation to the Council to approve the special use permit <br />request. <br /> <br />Mr. Sonny DaBruzzi (Ro-So Contracting, 7137 20th) commented he would like to clean up and <br />improve his building site. Furthermore, drainage was approved by RCWD. Mr. Ken Cook <br />(Building Inspector) addressed items that need to be completed prior to executing a building <br /> <br />1 <br />
