<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP <br />WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 1998 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the Gty of CenteIVille held a <br />workshop on Wednesday, March 18, 1998 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1880 <br />Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber <br />Council Members: Theresa Brenner <br />Mary J 0 Helmbrecht <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members: Laura Powers <br />Sanna Buckbee <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> <br />Jim March <br />Paul Palzer <br /> <br />-------------------------------------------------------------~---------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the workshop meeting to order at 5:00 P.M. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Mr. David Nyberg gave a brief presentation on the proposed 21st Avenue project. The <br />project would initially consist of paving 600 feet of roadway and installing storm sewer <br />from Main Street south on 21st Avenue. The roadway would be centered down the <br />corporate boundaries. <br /> <br />Mr. David Ahrens indicated that constructing a road section just to the south boundary <br />of the current Industrial Park would be fine with the Gty of Lino Lakes. Mr. Ahrens <br />indicated Lino Lakes would just like to at least proceed past the entrance to Northern <br />Lights Boulevard. <br /> <br />Currently, Lino Lakes has all parcels except the Tschida property platted as an outlot. <br />Mr. Nyberg mentioned that the joint powers agreement would be written so that future <br />phases would only occur when both Cities have required right-of-way (ROW). Mr. <br />Nyberg mentioned that he was presenting a draft developers agreement for all the <br />property owned by Gerald Rehbein. Mayor Wilharber questioned how would a <br />developers agreement be enforced if Gerald Rehbein sold his property. Mayor <br />Wilharber further questioned the Stevens property, since Gerald claims to own that <br />property as well. Mr. Nyberg commented a report has been requested from Anoka <br />County specifying the easements and encumbrances on the subject property. The <br />developers agreement would be recorded against the property at Anoka County. Mr. <br />Rehbein had asked if the City would be sending Herman Strehlow a letter stating his <br /> <br />1 <br />
