<br />Pay Estimate #2 Parkview Addition <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved to approve pay estimate #2 Parkview Addition as per H.R. <br />Green recommendation dated October 22, 1998 in the amount of $215,444.14. <br />Councilmember Brenner seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Pay Estimate #5 20th Avenue <br />Councilmember Brenner moved to approve pay estimate #5 for 20th Avenue for the sewer <br />and water nroject in the amount of $43.678.34. Councilmember Buckbee seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SET AGENDA <br /> <br />1. Complaint <br />2. Committee Report <br /> <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved to set the agenda with noted changes. Councilmember <br />Brenner seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Carter (6913 Sumac Court) complained that garbage was left behind and after calling <br />Waste Management they would not return to pick up the garbage. <br /> <br />Ms. Norma Essex (7333 Old Mill Road) submitted a complaint regarding the need to develop an <br />ordinance that applies to cats because she has unsuccessfully attempted to have the police <br />department pick up stray cats. Mayor Wilharber noted that the resident could get a live trap to <br />capture cats and that the Anoka County Humans Society will accept cats. Ms. Essex proposed to <br />adopt, change or amend the current animal ordinance to create a stricter law regulating stray cats. <br />The Council suggested the Planning and Zoning Commission review the animal ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber confirmed the City is in receipt of a letter from Senator Bill Luther pertaining to <br />the Main Street traffic issue in front of the Elementary School. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />Beuchler Estates Park Dedication Fee <br />Mr. March explained the status of park dedication fees for Beuchler Estates and shared that the <br />City is in receipt of the Park and Recreation Committees recommendation to the Council. <br />Furthermore, the P& R Committee recommended that the City accept the offer of $4000 park <br />fees per lot. A total of $20,000 would be collected on a total of five lots. <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner stated that the park dedication fee is a good ordinance and the ordinance <br />is good for Centerville. Councilmember Buckbee commented she would like to know the market <br /> <br />2 <br />
