<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10, 1998 <br /> <br />Pursuant to do call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held its regularly <br />scheduled Council meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 1998, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Members: Theresa Brenner <br />Sanna Buckbee <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members: Laura Powers <br />Mary J 0 Helmbrecht <br /> <br />STAFF/CONSULTANTS: Jim March, City Administrator <br />Ry-Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br />Paul Palzer, Public Works Director/Building Official <br />Greg Hellings, Ciiy Attorney <br />David Nyberg, City Engineer <br />****************************************************************************** <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the Council meeting to order at 6:00 p.rn. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber noted the Council will adjourn into an executive session to discuss pending <br />litigation for the 20th Avenue project. <br /> <br />The Council discussed the watermain and sanitary sewer extension project and assessment options <br />for the 20th Avenue project. In addition, an agreement was submitted for consideration between <br />the Carpenters and the City of Centerville. (Exhibit A) <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to approve the agreement for the watermain <br />and sanitary sewer on 20th Avenue and between the properties of Garpenter Auto Body <br />(Carpenter Business). the Carpenter Residence. and Reel Manufacturing, Incorporated. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber moved and it was seconded to direct the City Administrator to implement the <br />settlement agreement between the City of Centerville and the Carpenters and to proceed with new <br />assessments as advised. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />An executive session closed at 6:12 p.rn. <br /> <br />1 <br />
