<br />Arrn\.:.4I v cu <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTOBER 13, 1999 <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of Centerville held their regularly <br />scheduled meeting on October 13, 1999, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Member Mati Nelson <br />Council Member Dick Travis <br />Council Member Terry Sweeney <br />Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Jim March <br />City Clerk, Diane Ward <br />City Attorney, Jim Hoeft <br />City Engineer, Tom Peterson <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the October 13, 1999 City Council meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />The mayor introduced Diane Ward, the new city clerk. <br /> <br />II. PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br />III. APPEARANCES/A WARDS <br /> <br />Metropolitan Mosquito Control District <br /> <br />Representatives from the Metropolitan Mosquito Control District, Mike McClain and Jim <br />Spicer appeared before Council to recap activities in and around the Centerville area. <br /> <br />The representatives also answered questions on citizen involvement and their operations <br />in the spraying of the area. He also addressed concerns in the chemicals used, and <br />consideration that is given to the residents in the area during the spraying operations. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 7 <br />
