<br />selected company's equipment is 100% handicap accessible, and has submitted a plan that <br />includes play structure for children of all ages. There is a 3% cash discount if the <br />structure is paid in full at the time of order. <br /> <br />Mr. March added that the volunteer involvement along with the support ofthe Park and <br />Recreation Committee has been a benefit. Mr. March has spoke to the DNR in reference <br />to the vendor change. The DNR reported there is no problem with the change, provided <br />the City stay with in the grant budget, and they maintain a similar layout to the one <br />submitted. Mr. March indicated the City has 30 days in which to enter into the grant <br />agreement, and hopes to see the playground installed in late October. Mr. March stated <br />that the City has until the year 2001 to spend the funds, and added that the cash match will <br />come from Park Dedication Fees as well as MS Funds. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber suggested that since the park will be installed primarily by volunteers, <br />the committees should generate some excitement and get the word out as soon as <br />possible. <br /> <br />Motion by Council member Sweeney. seconded by Council member Nelson to <br />approve the Outdoor Recreation Grant as stated. as well as the design for Acorn <br />Creek Park.
