<br />Temporary On Sale Liquor License - Lions <br />Mr. March explained that the Lions would like to serve wine coolers during the Fete des Lacs celebration. <br />In order to serve wine coolers the City needs to approve the temporary permit. Ms. Gaustad commented <br />to the Council thaf the City is in receipt ofthe Lion's certificate of insurance. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Travis. seconded by Councilmember Sweeney to approve the <br />temporary on sale liquor license and to waive the associated fees. Travis. Sweenev. Wilharber <br />aye. Nelson nay. Motion carried. <br /> <br />M.S. Funds ,.. . '. <br />Mr. March requested MS funds be applied toward the Acorn Creek playground equipment. Mr. March <br />has been in contact with Sharon Deziel from the Multiple Sclerosis Society. It was reported that the MS <br />fund has approximately $12,000 from charitable gambling that occurs at Kelly's Korner. The less the park <br />dedication funds used to match the DNR grant, the more funds we will have to expend in other parks for <br />other uses. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sweeney. seconded by Councilmember Nelson to approve the $12.000 <br />for matching funds toward the Department of Natural Resources Plavground grant. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Waive Press Packet Fee for Quad <br />Motion by Councilmember Travis. seconded by Councilmember Nelson to provide a press packet <br />to the Quad Community Press at no charge. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Resignation of the City Clerk <br />On behalf of the City, Councilmember Nelson said Ry-Chel will be missed both professionally and <br />personally. The Council wished her well in her endeavors. Ms. Gaustad said she was honored to have <br />the opportunity to serve the citizens and council of Centerville. She thanked the Staff and the Council for <br />the favorable memories and experiences. Ms. Gaustad commented that she would miss the Centerville <br />family and would do all possible to assist in the job transition. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Wilharber. seconded by Councilmember Sweeney to reluctantly accept Ry-Chel <br />Gaustads resignation from the duties as City Clerk. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Annual Performance Review for Aimee Fairbrother - Receptionist Recommend one step increase to <br />Step 2 (Grade 2). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Travis. seconded by Councilmember Nelson to approve the consent <br />agenda.
