Motion carried unanimous~y. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Vacancies and the Commission's Recommendation <br />Ms, Gaustad reported on the Planning and Zoning vacancies and the Commission's recommendations. <br />The Planning Commission met on Tuesday, July 13, to interview and consider applicants for the <br />Commission. Since the Commission was authorized'to move from a five to seven member commissi~n <br />and the two resignations from Mr. John Buckbee and Linda Broussard Vickers, four positions were' <br />available. The Commission interviewedand'recommended Rob Sheppard, John McLean, DavidK.i1li~, <br />and Ray Devine. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sweenev. seconded by Councilmember Travis to approve the Planning <br />Commission's recommendation. ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> <br />Mr. March reported that the Environmental Study for Acorn Creek has been forwarded for review and <br />Park and Recreation Committee is interviewing companies for play ground equipment. <br /> <br />Last week, Mr. March met with Lino Lakes, and Anoka County in regards to LaMotte Park. <br /> <br />Mr. March stated that he is working on TIF (Tax Increment Financing) reports and expects to be done <br />soon.
