The City should realize, however, the weir detail, because it is wood, has a <br />useful life of approximately 10 years. This weir will need to be replaced every ten years. A more <br />permanent - and more costly - skimmer structure could be built out of concrete, if the City is interested in <br />long-term maintenance. Also, the course aggregate will become clogged with sediment and will need to be <br />replaced periodically. <br /> <br />Finally, the City may want to increase the backyard utility easement for lots 1-5 from ten feet to fifteen feet <br />to allow easier access to the proposed stormwater pond by backhoes, dump trucks, and maintenance <br />. <br /> <br />crews. <br /> <br />Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates <br />
