<br />APPROVED <br /> <br />} <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 29, 1999 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City ofCenterville held a Special <br />Council Meeting on June 29, 1999, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor <br />Council Members <br /> <br />Tom Wilharber <br />Mari Nelson <br />Terry Sweeney <br />Dick Travis <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />STAFF: Jim March, City Administrator <br />Paul Palzer, Building OfficialfPublic Works Director <br />Tom Peterson, City Engineer <br />Linda Broussard Vickers <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS BUILDINGIW A TERTOWER SITE <br /> <br />Jim.March presented various options regarding the public works facility. The Council was briefed <br />on o'ptions ranging from doing nothing, remodeling the existing facility, purchasing the existing <br />Eagle Trucking facility, to building a new facility at different possible locations. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber questioned Paul Palzer in regards to whether or not the Eagle Trucking building <br />would meet the City's long term needs. Mr. Palzer commented that Eagle Trucking is an older <br />steel building, there is room to expand on the site and that the current building would meet our <br />needs now. <br /> <br />1'v1r. Peterson mentioned that his :finn has worked on many new building projects and passed out <br />information on the architectural capabilities of Bonestroo. Mr. Peterson said they would be able <br />to assist the City in whatever manner needed. <br />
