<br />.. <br /> <br />attended in the past and Mr. March may attend. Mr. March commented he wasn't sure if any <br />Council members would be interested in attending. Further, Mr. March was pleased that the <br />employees are willing to have additional training. Councilmember Brenner commented she would <br />be interested in attending the Annual League Conference. <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />MOTION by Mayor Wilharber, seconded by Councilmember Brenner to accept the <br />Admi~strators proposal on training for members of the staff Motion carried. <br /> <br />Garbage Contract - <br />Mr. March suggested Randy, Greg and he decide what needs to be included in the garbage <br />contract. <br /> <br />Cleaning Contract - <br />Mr. March reported he planned to try a cleaning service on a trail basis. Councilmember <br />Helmbrecht suggested receiving bids since some people in the community are interested. <br />Mr. March said he did receive another estimate for $85.00 per week. <br /> <br />Cedar Street Park - <br />Mr. March reported the City received the Cedar Street property for park purposes in 1975 from <br />the State of Minnesota. Greg is looking to see if the city can use the property for any other <br />purposes. <br /> <br />Intern - <br />Mr. March spoke to the Administrator in Mahtomedi about the Intern they hired. <br />Mahtomedi Administrator indicated they received some good applicants. Ten dollars is the <br />average wage with no benefits. Mr. March commented he planned to send an ad to the <br />Universities and put the ad in the League's Cities Bulletin. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht, seconded by Councilmember Brenner to adjourn the <br />March 12, 1997 Council meeting.
