<br />Safety Education Continued: <br /> <br />and Centennial Fire Department. This is the first year that Lexington Fire Department <br />was part of the program. Their assistance was greatly appreciated. <br /> <br />Also, as part of the Safety Program, we inspected all commercial businesses in the Fire <br />District and have done so for the past three years. This year we also had a lot of <br />activity with new buildings. We perform a life safety plan review for each of new <br />building within our district. In December, we also received approval from the State Fire <br />Marshals' office to do the plan review for automatic sprinkler systems in our fire district. <br />We currently have 216 businesses that we do inspections on. <br /> <br />~ <br />
