Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Table <br />Ms. Gaustad summarized the council table quotations submitted by Oakcraft and Design Wise. <br />Councilmember Buckbee requested a price check on the embossed city logo from Design Wise. <br />Councilmember Powers requested Staff to check if the table is an actual "L" shape. <br /> <br />Update on Main Street Traffic Study <br />Mr. March reported Officer Parks stated he will check on the Police Department video taping the <br />traffic and student crossing at the elementary school. In addition, Mr. March commented upon <br />receipt of the video tape Staffwill forward the tape to the ISD 12 School Board and Anoka <br />County Commissioner Margaret Langfeld. <br /> <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht requested new elementary signage on Main Street. Officer Jensen <br />volunteered to investigate and find what can be done at the school crossing. Also, Officer Jensen <br />stated he will report the findings back to the Council. Councilmember Helmbrecht requested Staff <br />contact the County about the removal of a speed sign on Main Street near the Lakeland Hills <br />development. <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers readdressed the Main Street and 20th Avenue traffic survey, and <br />requested the results. Mr. March replied the City has not received the traffic survey results from <br />Anoka County on Main Street and 20th Avenue. <br /> <br />United Waste Complaint Log <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht requested the United Waste monthly complaint log. Mr. March <br />stated the City did not receive a complaint log from United Waste. Councilmember Buckbee <br />suggested Staff contact United Waste and request comments indicating whether or not they have <br />received complaints. <br /> <br />Snowmobile Memo <br />The Council was in receipt of Police ChiefVanBurkleo's snowmobile memorandum. Mr. March <br />elaborated on ChiefVanBurkleo's snowmobile concern and request. Mr. March explained Chief <br />VanBurkleo requested the Council consider permitting snowmobile operations along Centerville <br />Road to Main Street then east to 20th Avenue and maintaining a 10-mph speed limit. Also, Mr. <br />March suggested Chief VanBurkleo or Officer Guy attend a workshop with the Council to discuss <br />the additional proposed snowmobile ideas. <br /> <br />MOTION by Councilmember Powers to expand the snowmobiling on Centerville Road to Main <br />Street east to 20th Avenue and a maximum speed of 10-mph.
