Councilmember Helmbrecht suggested the Engineer execute a "Week in
Review" to summarize weekly engineering issues. Councilmember Brenner suggested Mr.
Nyberg submit a daily inspection report to City Hall from H.R. Green. Mr. Paul Palzer stated a
daily inspection report is a cumbersome task for the Engineering firm and City Staff, since nobody
at City Hall can interpret the report from an engineering view point. The Council discussed
"Week in Review, " weekly engineering visits and one-on-one sessions with the Building Official
and Council as needed.

Councilmember Sanna Buckbee arrived at 5:35 p.m.

Councilmember Powers stressed all employees should be treated with respect and when an
employee asks a question, they should not be chastised. Also, Councilmember Powers stressed the
whole Council should be made aware of all engineering issues pertaining to the City. In addition,
the whole staff should inform Paul Palzer of important pending issues.

t

1
