Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />3.2 Beer Permit - St. Genevieve (Chicken Picnic August 17. 1997) <br />MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve the non-intoxicating beer permit for St. <br />Genevieve chicken picnic August 17th. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. <br />Councilmember Powers absent. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Noise Permit - Kelly's Korner Bar (Saturday. October 18. 1997) <br />Mr. Bisek was present to request a noise permit for Customer Appreciation Day on October 18, <br />1997. A pig roast and an outdoor concert featuring the "Rockin Hollywoods" will be featured in <br />the event. Councilmember Helmbrecht asked, "How will the crowd be monitored?" Mr. Bisek <br />replied each door will be equipped with a bouncer. Councilmember Buckbee asked, "What time <br />frame is the noise permit request?" Mr. Bisek requested a noise permit from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 <br />a.m. midnight, or 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Mayor Wilharber requested notice be sent to <br />surrounding property owners. <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers returned to the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers inquired on the severe weather procedures. Mr. Bisek planned the event <br />in October to avoid severe weather. Councilmember Powers asked in case of an emergency if a <br />tent would be available. Mr. Bisek expected no more than 400 people, and any care would be <br />addressed within the bar. Councilmember Helmbrecht requested Mr. Bisek notify and receive <br />overflow parking approval from the Elementary School for the event. t <br /> <br />MOTION by Mayor Wilharber to approve the noise permit for Saturday, October 18, from 2:00 <br />p.m. to 10:00 p.m. contingent upon mailing notice of the event to the surrounding property <br />owners, consult with the Fire Chief on occupancy issues and acquire parking approval from the <br />Elementary School. Motion seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Cable Conference <br />MOTION by Councilmember Powers to permit Councilmember Buckbee and City Clerk <br />Gaustad attend the Cable Conference and expenditures not covered by the conference be paid by <br />the City. Motion seconded by Councilmember Buckbee.
