Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville help their regular meeting on Wednesday, March 14, 1979 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present were: Burque, L'Allier, Laska and Savela. Leon L'Allier made a motion to accept the minutes of the meeting held February 28, 1979, Gary Savela seconded it, motion carried. Mr. Richard Carpenter appeared before council with discussion on his sewer hook-up at 7095 Centerville Road. He has not as yet had the work done and requests another extension. After considerable discussion, Leon L'Allier made a motion to permit the 4 remaining sewer hook-ups to have an extension until April 14th, 1979, Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. The preliminary plat of Rehbein Estates was presented to council. This plat consists of 10 acres, 20 lots, legal description as follows: Part of the east 24 rods of the Nwi, N~i, Section 2J, Township 31 North, Range 22 west, Anoka County, Minnesota. Leon L'Allier made a motion to approve the preliminary plat with the following stipulations: Approval contingent on the drainage plan being approved by the Rice Creek Watershed; (~lm Street) or the north street easement be blacktopped for turnaround 75' from the center of the tee and 16' wide Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. Discussion was held on change order on the street project concerning Brian Drive. The tee on Brian Drive be blacktopped 20' past the right-of-way on Gerald Rehbein's side of the street. 1979 Police contract with Lino Lakes was discussed. Floyd Laska made a motion to approve contract for $19,121.80, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. Discussion on the pending bill from Carley & Associates on the street restoration project. Floyd Laska made a motion to pay debt of Milner W. Carley & .Associates in the amount of $9,875.58, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. Discussion was held in advising the 6 landowners on Mill ~{oad having property in the urban service area of changing the surface of the road during the street project. Gary Savela made a motion to contact the 6 landowners relative to the possibility of a change in the road surfacing from the $4. oil- mix material to the $9.25 bituminous material, Fran Burque seconded it, motion carried. Clerk will advise landowners by letter and ask for reply by April 30th.
