<br />- <br /> <br />page two - Minutes <br />of Public Hearing <br />December J, 1979 <br /> <br />Gary Savela made a motion to adjourn hearing, Leon L'Allier <br />seconded it, motion carried. Hearing adjourned at 7:50 pm. <br /> <br /> <br />City Council met with the Park & Recreation Committee at <br />8:00 pm in the City Hall. Present were City Council members, <br />Park Committee representatives Floyd Kruger, Larry Koch and <br />Don Fitch. Purpose of meeting was to discuss guidelines for <br />skating rink attendants and proposed purchase of parcel for <br />City Park Use. <br /> <br />Danny Tourville appeared before Council interested in being <br />rink attendant for the winter season. He was advised that he <br />would either be called by clerk about being hired and the <br />guidelines to follow or request his attendance at the December <br />12th Council meeting. <br /> <br />A Centennial Hockey Association representative was in attendance <br />requesting It hour use of rink on week nights and game to be <br />scheduled for Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Association will <br />furnish the Clerk with a schedule and also coaches names and <br />telephone numbers. <br /> <br />Balance of meeting was spent discussing the proposed parcel <br />of ground the City is interested in purchasing for park use. <br />Park Committee were brought up to date on the area where the <br />parcel is located and the price quoted from the City to the <br />LaMotte family for the sale. LaMotte family had several things <br />to consider; the street assessment against the parcel, the green <br />acre restoration and survey costs. Matter was tabled until <br />further notice by LaMotte's. <br /> <br />
