<br />page two - City Council <br />meeting minutes <br />November 28, 1979 <br /> <br />Discussion was held on the proposed guidelines for the rink <br />attendants at the Centerville skating rink. Clerk is to <br />post notice requesting persons interested in being a rink <br />attendant to attend a meeting on Monday, December )rd in <br />the City Hall at 8:00 pm. Clerk will also contact Circulating <br />Pines for same notice but with the interviews being held on <br />the 12th of December at the regular meeting. <br /> <br />Fran Burque made a motion to renew the Business Auto Policy <br />with Beulke Agency, Inc. for a one-year period, Leon L'Allier <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor read communications from Rep. Oberstar and Cecilia Nadeau. <br /> <br />Mayor read request from Anoka County referring to a letter from <br />Governor Quie asking for the communities to designate a 24 <br />hour housing center in cases of emergency and a 24-hour <br />referral phone number. Council consensus was the City Hall <br />being designated as the 24-hour housing shelter and referral <br />number would be the Lino Lakes Police Department. Clerk will <br />advise the County and Police Department of same. <br /> <br />Chief Sundberg presented Fire Department items of business. <br /> <br />Gary Savela made a motion to adjourn, Floyd Laska seconded <br />it, motion carried.
