<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />September 12, 1979 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the <br />meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Present: L'Allier, Laska, Savela <br />absent; Burque. <br /> <br />Gary Savela made a motion to accept minutes of meetings held <br />August 22, August 29 and September 10 hearing, Floyd Laska <br />seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Arthur Raudio was in attendance requesting an extension <br />on the final plat of Center Oaks #2. He plans to attend the <br />March 1980 council meeting to discuss the timing of developing <br />this plat. Leon L'Allier made a motion to extend the plat <br />presentation of Center Oaks #2 until the June 11, 1980 council <br />meeting, Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. Mr. Raudio <br />also requests the city to write a letter for FHA informing <br />them that we accept the blacktop streets, sanitary sewer lines, <br />street signs are in and that we are holding a $10,000. bond <br />in reserve for the finishing work to be done on the drainage <br />swales. Gary Savela made a motion to accept all parts of the <br />project that are completed; blacktop streets, sanitary sewer <br />lines and street signs and are are holding a $10,000. bond in <br />reserve for completion of the finishing work on the drainage <br />swales, Leon L'Allier seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Gerald Rehbein appeared before council for discussion on his <br />plat Rehbein ~states. Walt Williams advised council that the <br />city would have to send a Resolution to the Waste Control <br />Commission requesting a change in the urban service area to <br />include the plat known as Rehbein Estates, and a map revision <br />would have to be made by the Engineer. Leon L'Allier made a <br />motion to revise the urban service area to include the area <br />known as Rehbein Estates and a new map drawn up by the Engineer, <br />Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. Mr. Rehbein will have <br />to attend a future meeting when he has acquired the easements <br />necessary for the plat, payment of the park fee agreed upon <br />and the signing of the development contract. <br /> <br />Mayor Prachar informed council of Mr. Rehbein's realtor requesting <br />a letter from the city stating there will be no problem in <br />putting up duplexes in the Rehbein Estates plat. Recommendation <br />from P & Z and city planner was that lot size for duplexes should <br />be increased to 22,500 square feet instead of our 15,000 square <br />foot lot size. Attorney Hawkins advised council we will have <br />to hold a public hearing if we are to change Ordinance #10 to <br />cover this situation. Clerk is to publish notice for hearing <br />on amendments proposed for Ordinance #10 and date will be <br />October 24 at 9:]0 pm. in the City Hall.
