<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />August 8, 1979 in the City Hall. Mayor Prachar called the <br />meeting to order at 8:00 pm. Present were: L'Allier, Laska, <br />Savela, Assistant Attorney Burke and Engineer Williams. Absent: <br />Burque. <br /> <br />Floyd Laska made a motion to accept the minutes of the July 25 <br />meeting, Gary Savela seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Discussion held on the culvert and <br />other debris laying on the Peltier Lake Hills Addition property. <br />Kids are playing in culvert and could get hurt. Development <br />contract with Husnick/Granger was discussed. According to <br />contract, all improvements were to be completed by July 1, 1979. <br />Assistant Attorney Burke was directed to write Husnick and request <br />his attendance at next meeting to extend the development contract <br />to a later date and that there will be no additional building <br />permits issued until the contract is taken care of. <br /> <br />Mr. Krieger of Oak Hill Sand & Gravel was in attendance and <br />discussion held on the ditch work to be done on Mill Road. If <br />weather holds, Kreiger estimated the work to be done at an <br />hourly rate of approximately $40. and would take 8-16 hours, <br />cost would be determined if fill dirt could be used off of Lot 4, <br />Block 2, Peterson's Old Homestead Addition. Mayor was to check <br />with realtor concerning Lot 4. Also discussion on the concrete <br />slab work to be done on two manholes on Mill Road at a cost of <br />approximately $1,000. <br /> <br />Council viewed the Brian Drive change order work to be done <br />before meeting and Leon L'Allier made a motion to extend the <br />tee on Brian Drive about 75' to make it more feasible, cost <br />approximately $1,000., Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion held on amendment to Ordinance #10 relating to ditches <br />on city streets. Leon L'Allier made a motion to adopt amendment <br />to Ordinance #10, Floyd Laska seconded it, motion carried. Copy <br />of amendment to Ordinance #10 is attached to and made a part of <br />these minutes. <br /> <br />Mary Jane Johnson realtor, representing Russel Ritter appeared <br />before council for discussion of problem between Ritter and <br />Mr. and Mrs. Harold Leibel. <br /> <br />Preliminary plat of Clearwater Creek Estates was presented to <br />council. It had previously been presented to P & Z with no <br />additions or corrections. Park fee was discussed and developer <br />wishes to pay 10% of subdivision land value which in this case <br />is $4,000. or $160. per lot. Floyd Laska made a motion to <br />approve preliminary plat of Clearwater Creek Estates, contingent <br />on Rice Creek Watershed approval, Leon L'Allier seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br />
