<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Centerville canvassed the ballots from <br />the General Election held on Tuesday, November 4, 1980. <br /> <br />Clerk informed council J89 ballots were cast in the <br />election with 100 new voter registrations filed. <br /> <br />In the City Election the numbers were as follows: <br /> <br />COUNGIL S~ATS -Fu'ur year term - beginning January, 1981, <br />expiring December, 1984. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier - 275 votes <br />Raymond Murray - 267 votes <br /> <br />Numerous votes were cast on the ballot for council seats <br />with write-ins. <br /> <br />MAYOR - Two year term - beginning January, 1981, <br />expiring December, 1982. <br /> <br />No one had filed for the position so all votes cast were <br />in the form of write-ins. <br /> <br />Gary Savela - 119 votes <br />Charles eross - 79 votes <br /> <br />Numerous write-ins were on the ballot for mayor which <br />were noted. <br /> <br />The official summary sheet for all ballots cast is on <br />file with the city clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />R~S~/~~lY submitted I <br /> <br />.~~~o-~ <br />Lu P char, Clerk <br />
