<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />November 26, 1980 in City Hall. Present was: L'Allier, Laska <br />and Murray. Absent: Burque. Mayor Savela called the meeting <br />to order at 7:00 pm. Motion by Laska, second by Murray to <br />accept the minutes of the November 12, 1980 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />P~TITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Clerk will speak to Mr. Ogren, Principal <br />of Centerville Blementary, concerning cars parking in front of the <br />mail boxes at 7124 Progress Road. <br /> <br />Status of Rehbein ~states was discussed. Gerald Rehbein presented <br />council with letter from Marcel Rivard concerning the installation <br />of the street lights in Rehbein Estates. Motion by Laska, second <br />by Murray, to allow clerk to issue the pending 12 building permits <br />for Rehbein Estates, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Murray, second by Laska, to authorize Mayor and Clerk <br />to enter into agreement with Ro-So-Contracting regarding the <br />contract for Improvement #80-1 between City and Ro-So Contracting, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk read the proposed amendment to Ordinance 15, Section 29 <br />regarding the moratorium to be imposed on a certain area of <br />Centerville. Members of the audience gave their opinion of <br />the amendment and discussion was held on same. Messrs. James <br />and Jeff Gardner advised council of their intention to plat the <br />area in question. Motion by Murray, second by Laska to shelve <br />the amendment at this time until the council sees what happens <br />to the Gardner proposal, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Laska reported on the status of finding a winter home for <br />either the snow plow truck or the Studebaker fire truck. <br /> <br />Mr. Rehbein advised council of his intention to do the ponding <br />area grading and would get the permit from the Clerk before <br />commencing with the project. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by L'Allier to approve applications <br />for the Twin Lakes Supper Club as follows: <br /> <br />1. On Sale Liquor; 2. Ofr Sale Liquor; 3. Sunday Liquor; <br />4. Off Sale Non-Intoxicating Liquor; 5. Cigarette license; and <br />6. Dance Permit <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Laska to cancel the 2nd meeting <br />in December of the City Council, motion carried. <br />
