<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />April 22, 1981 in the Centervil1e City Hall. Mayor Savela <br />called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Present were: L'Allier, <br />Laska, Murray and Wilharber. Motion by Wilharber, second by <br />Laska to accept the minutes of the April 8 meeting, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />P~TITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Mail boxes being hit by car on <br />Heritage Street, tearing up lawn on the church school property, <br />party requesting occupancy permit, yard on Mill Road which <br />has become an eye sore because of the debris in yard. <br /> <br />Mr~. and Mrs. Leonard Ayde of Lake Sanitation appeared before <br />council to review the five year contract between the City and <br />Lake Sanitation. Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber <br />to approve new rates on the contract as follows: <br /> <br />a) curb side - CURR~NT RAT~ $5.75 <br />b) walk-in service 8.50 <br />effective July 1, 1981, motion carried. <br /> <br />The five year Fire Service Contract between City of Centerville <br />and City of Lino Lakes was discussed. The City of Lino Lakes <br />has approved the contract, fee for services for 1981 being <br />$11,625.50. Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to approve <br />the five year Fire Service Contract between cities of Center- <br />ville and Lino Lakes, motion carried. <br /> <br />N~W RATE $6.30 <br />9.35 <br /> <br />Council instructed clerk to write letter to VVestward Construc- <br />tion concerning filling of opening on Lot 2, Block 2, Peterson's <br />Old Homestead Addition by May 1st of this year. <br /> <br />Councilman Laska advised members that snow plow truck is <br />now being housed at 6716 Centervi11e Road at the rate of $20. <br />per month. <br /> <br />The amendment to the City Comprehensive Plan and application <br />for discretionary funds was discussed. The amendment to the <br />plan was tabled for discussion until next meeting. Motion by <br />L'Allier, second by Laska not to apply for discretionary funds <br />for the simple reason we don't owe Barton Aschmann anything <br />on the approved contract between the City and Barton-Aschmann, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by Murray, for the City to enter into <br />the Anoka County Law ~nforcement Joint ~owers Agreement with <br />Anoka County, motion carried. <br /> <br />City will be sending in a preliminary application for LEWCON <br />and state monies available for Park & Recreation grants for <br />1982. Year II of our five year recreation program calls for <br />development of ballfield #2 at a cost of $6,500. <br />
