<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on <br />Wednesday, January 28th, 1981 in the City Hall. Mayor <br />Savela called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present <br />were: L'Allier, Laska, Murray and Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to accept the <br />minutes of the January 14, 1981 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />Tom Wilharber informed council about seminar to be held <br />for newly elected officials on January )0 and 31. <br /> <br />Clerk is to call Marty Asleson concerning his appointment <br />as the City Tree Inspector for 1981. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to appoint Elmer <br />Murray and Charles Cross to the Planning and Zoning Commit- <br />tee and Lloyd Welk to the Parks and Recreation Committee, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Laska, second by L'Allier to submit the City <br />of Centerville Comprehensive Land Use Plan to Metropolitan <br />Council for approval, motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on purchasing some tools for use <br />jointly by the City and Fire Department, not exceeding <br />$75. <br /> <br />Engineer to check on city street widths for placing of <br />signs allowing parking on only one side of the street. <br /> <br />Mr. Norman Fritchie appeared before council concerning <br />errors of street names on the half-section maps of the <br />City. Clerk will check with Rollie Anderson, County <br />Surveyor on correction of same. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to adopt Resolution <br />setting fees required for yearly liquor and related licenses, <br />motion carried. Copy of Kesolution is attached to and <br />made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to adopt amendment <br />to Ordinance d)O regarding sewage use rates, motion <br />carried. Copy of amendment is attached to and made a part <br />of these minutes. <br /> <br />~otion by Laska, second by Murray to enter into agreement <br />with George M. Hansen Company to perform the 1980 audit <br />of City books, motion carried. <br /> <br />Letter was discussed from Engineering office concerning <br />projects which they have done preliminary work on but have <br />not been completed. They would like to complete the <br />engineering on (1) Peltier Lake Hills; (2) Peterson's <br />Old Homestead Addition (Gardner Estates); (3) Rehbein <br />
