After discussion of report from Building <br />Inspector, motion by Laska, second by Wilharber to notify the <br />adjoining parcel owners within 350' of site for their opinion <br />on proposal and matter will be tabled until next meeting, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Communication from Northern Asphalt was reviewed and will be <br />sent to attorney for opinion. <br /> <br />Discretionary fund application tabled until August 12th meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Laska to approve temporary easement <br />for sanitary sewer construction purposes over the property known <br />as 7105 - 20th Avenue North and to pay the property owner $100. <br />for same, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to grant a three month <br />extension on submission of W~GL~ITNER ADDITION final plat, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />~stimate #2 on Improvement #80-1 was discussed. Motion by L'Allier, <br />second by vvilharber to pa.y .bstimate #2 in the amount of $3,884.55 <br />to Ro-So Contracting providing repair is done on the low spots <br />in front of 7105 - 20th Avenue North, motion carried. <br /> <br />Engineer presented council with cost estimates on street patches <br />and seal coating as per council request. Motion by Laska, second <br />by Murray to accept bid from Lino Lakes Blacktopping on the <br />street patches as stated in letter of July 21, 1981 in the amount <br />of $3,265.00, motion carried. <br /> <br />After discussion of the seal coating bid received from Allied <br />Blacktopping, motion by L'Allier, second by Murray to instruct <br />~ngineer to get bids on seal coating of all city streets and bid <br />on seal coating 1/5 of streets, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Frank Zimny of 7252 LaValle Drive appeared before council <br />for discussion of the softball tournaments which are held on <br />the property adjacent to 7281 Main Street known as the Twin Lakes <br />Ballfield. Several complaints from residents in the area were <br />voiced by Mr. Zimny; namely, the language used by players, debris <br />problem, players not utilizing the satellite on site, number of <br />tournaments held, late hours, and violation on hours of sale <br />of 3.2 beer. Matter will be turned over to attorney for opinion <br />on above and discussed at next meeting. <br />
