<br />-7- <br /> <br />26.05. Reserve strips controlling access to streets are <br />prohibited. <br /> <br />26.06. The minimum distance between center lines of <br />parallel or approximately parallel streets <br />intersecting a cross street from opposite <br />directions shall be one hundred fifty (150) feet. <br /> <br />26.07. Intersections of more than two (2) streets at one <br />point shall be avoided. <br /> <br />26.08. Dead end streets shall be prohibited unless pro- <br />vided with a turn-around or cul-de-sac arrangement. <br /> <br />26.09. Right-of-way requirements may be increased for <br />specific thoroughfares if existing or anticipated <br />traffic flow warrants it, or if drainage easements <br />parallel such thoroughfares. Such increased width <br />will be set by the Council under the advisement <br />of the Planning Commission and City Engineer. <br /> <br />26.10. GENERAL CONDITIONS. Upon receipt of the preliminary plat <br />approval by the Council and prior to Council approval of the <br />final plat, the subdivider shall make provision, in the manner <br />hereinafter set forth, for the installation at the sole expense <br />of the subdivider of such improvements as shall be required by <br />the City, which improvements may include, but are not limited <br />to, streets, sidewalks, public water systems, sanitary sewer <br />systems, surface and storm drainage systems, and public utility <br />services. The installation of said improvements shall be in <br />conformity with approved construction plans and specifications <br />and all applicable standards and ordinances. <br />
