<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, December <br />8, 1982 in City Hall. Mayor Savela called the meeting to <br />order at 7:00 PM. Present were: Baumann, L'Allier, Laska <br />and Wilharber. <br /> <br />The public hearing on Ordinance #8 was reconvened from October <br />27, 1982. Purpose of hearing is to adopt Ordinance #8, AN <br />ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SUBDIVISION AND PLATTING OF LAND <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA AND PROVIDING FOR <br />THE ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF SUCH REGULATIONS. <br /> <br />Discussion held on items in question from October 27th hearing. <br />The following changes were made: <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1 - #15 - COMPLIANCE - First sentence is revised to <br />read: "Platting is required for all subdivisions creating <br />five (5) or more lots or parcels which are two and one-half <br />(2~) acres or less in size." <br /> <br />ARTICLE #3 - #38.04. SIDEWALKS. - Paved sidewalks four (4) <br />feet wide of portland cement concrete or asphaltic concrete <br />may be required on one or both sides of streets designated <br />as collector or arterial. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by L'Allier to adopt Ordinance #8 <br />with revisions, roll call taken: Wilharber, aye; L'Allier, <br />aye; Laska, aye; Baumann, aye; Savela, aye; motion carried. <br />Resolution was adopted approving text of the summary which <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Wilharber to adjourn hearing, <br />motion carried. Hearing adjourned at 7150 PM. <br /> <br />Mayor Savela called the regular meeting to order at 7:52 PM. <br />Correction to November 10, 1982 meeting minutes: "Motion <br />by Wilharber, second by Savela to appoint Charles Baumann, <br />Jr., to fill the unexpired term of councilman; L'Allier, <br />aye; Laska, abstained; Wilharber, aye; Savela, aye; motion <br />carried". Motion by Wilharber, second by Baumann to <br />approve minutes of November 10, 1982, as amended, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: none. <br /> <br />Old Business: Communication from Walt Williams to Twin <br />Lakes Pavilion about manhole cover; not resolved as yet, <br />tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />The following liquor license applications were presented <br />to council for approval: <br />
