<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />October 27, 1982 in City Hall. Mayor Savela called the <br />meeting to order at 8:00 PM. Present were L'Allier, Laska <br />and Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to make the following <br />correction to the October 13, 1982 minutes. - Paragraph <br />6 "Floyd Laska advised council Centerville Lions Club have <br />~urchased the bases for both ballfields in the park for <br />$317.80 at no cost to the City". Correction is noted on <br />back of page one - minutes of October 13, 1982. Motion <br />by Wilharber, second by Laska to approve minutes of October <br />13, 1982 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLIINTS: Condition of premises at 1759 <br />Peltier Lake Drive - clerk will request letter or presence <br />at next meeting concerning same; no covers on two manholes <br />on Peltier Lake Drive, maintenance man to replace/look for <br />them in ditch; problem with manhole in blacktop portion <br />of driveway at Twin Lakes Pavilion that is in the county <br />right of way, engineer to check this out; problem with <br />storm sewer on Shad Avenue, Engineer to check out; request <br />for dirt/gravel at end of Heritage Street, Engineer to check <br />out. <br /> <br />Item #1 - OLD BUSINESS - reply from James McGregor not to <br />pursue project. <br /> <br />Item #2 - OLD BUSINESS - Fee Schedule from Springsted _ <br />5% on bond sales. <br /> <br />Item #3 - OLD BUSINESS - Mr. George Johnson of PCA has <br />advised Mayor Savela that application from W & G Rehbein <br />Bros., to spread sludge on site in Centerville previously <br />discussed at earlier meeting has been denied by PCA. <br /> <br />Clerk is to check with Anoka County to see if the county <br />has an ordinance dealing with sewer sludge spreading. <br /> <br />Clerk will atwnd meeting Wednesday, November 24 on Small <br />Cities Grant program. <br /> <br />Discussion on municipal building in Centerville was held. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by L'Allier to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried.
