<br />July 28, 1982 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held a public hearing on Ordinance #4. Acting <br />Mayor L'Allier presided over hearing. Present were~ Wilharber <br />and L'Allier. (Murray, Laska and Savela arriving later). <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by L'Allier to open hearing at <br />7:00 pm, motion carried. Clerk read public hearing notice, <br />copy of which is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />Audience participation was held on Ordinance for one hour. <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to close public hearing <br />motion carried. Hearing closed at 8:00 pm. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor called the regular meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 8:00 pm. Present were Wilharber, Murray; absent: <br />Laska and Savela. Motion by Murray, second by L'Allier to <br />approve minutes of July 14, meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Complaints on speeding on Mill Road, <br />thistles on property across from LaValle Drive, drainage <br />problem with lot adjacent to 7232 Mill Road. <br /> <br />Motion by Murray, second by Wilharber to have Walter Prachar <br />cut the weeds in the city right-of-way at a fee of $15.00 an <br />hour not to exceed three hours, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to issue a 3.2 beer <br />permit to the Circle Pines Sno-Goers Snowmobile Club for their <br />softball tournament on August 7 and 8, 1982, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to pay the three bills <br />presented by clerk, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:00 pm. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Murray to reopen public hearing <br />on Ordinance #4, motion carried. Hearing reopened at 9:15 pm. <br /> <br />The following changes were made to the Ordinance #4 as it was <br />presented: <br /> <br />24. SCH~DULE OF REGULATIONS. (6) Any metal siding upon single <br />family residence structures shall have horizontal edges and <br />overlapping sections no wider than twelve (12) inches. Sheet <br />metal siding shall not be permitted in such districts not over <br />at least fifty (50) percent of entire structure. <br /> <br />33.02 STRUCTURES. Structures in the Commercial and Industrial <br />districts no building or other structure may be erected to a <br />height exceeding thirty-five (35) feet. <br /> <br />34.07 ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS.
