<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on <br />Wednesday, May 26, 1982 in City Hall. Mayor Savela called <br />the meeting to order at 8:00 PM. Present: L'Allier, <br />Laska, Murray and Wilharber. Motion by Wilharber, se~ond <br />by L'Allier to accept minutes of May 12, 1982 meeting, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: none <br /> <br />Clerk advised council C~TA employee will be Ron Burque <br />and will start working for City on June 9th. <br /> <br />Discussion held on softball tournaments held at Twin <br />Lakes ballfield. Proposed ordinance was reviewed authorizing <br />the issuance of temporary non-intoxicating malt liquor <br />licenses. Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to <br />adopt ORDINANCE #11 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE <br />OF TEMPORARY NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LIC~NS~S, roll <br />call taken: L'Allier, aye; Wilharber, aye; Laska, aye; <br />Murray, aye; Savela, aye; motion carried. A copy of <br />Ordinance #11 is attached to and made a part of these <br />minutes. Resolution setting regulations to be followed <br />at softball tournaments was read. Motion by L'Allier, <br />second by Wilharber to adopt Resolution and have clerk <br />check further into insurance requirements, motion carried. <br />A copy of Resolution is attached to and made a part of <br />these minutes. The following 3.2 beer permits were <br />approved for issuance: <br /> <br />1. June 12 and 13 - Terry Johnson <br />2. July 17 and 18 - Gerry Jolly <br />3. July 24 and 25 - John Searles <br />4. August 21 and 22 - Centerville Lions Club <br /> <br />Clerk read letter from G & S Development (Gerald Rehbein) <br />concerning the installation of light pole at the corner <br />of Main Street and Shad Avenue and the work to be done <br />on the ponding area in Rehbein Estates. The work should <br />be completed in thirty (30) days or June 26th. Council <br />agreed on time limit requested by Rehbein. <br /> <br />L'Allier wished to publicly thank George Haberman <br />and his 4-H members for the planting of seedlings in <br />the City park. Council instructed clerk to write letter <br />to Haberman thanking him and his crew for the good job <br />they had done. <br /> <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to approve <br />corrected 1982 assessment valuation for the City of <br />Centerville, motion carried. Corrections are noted <br />on the minutes of the Board of Review held on May 25, 1982. <br />
