<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, May 12, <br />1982 in City Hall. Mayor Savela called the meeting to order <br />at 8:)0 pm. Present were L'Allier, Laska, Murray and Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Laska to approve minutes of <br />April 14, 1982 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br />Opinion voiced on condition of city streets, and trees not <br />trimmed by County on corner of Brian Drive and County Road #14. <br /> <br />Discussion held on meeting held May 3 concerning regulations <br />of softball tournaments at Twin Lakes Ballfield. Copy of <br />minutes from meeting is attached to and made a part of this <br />meeting. Several items were discussed; damage deposit to city <br />being increased and held for approximately 7-10 days after <br />tournament; 3.2 Beer permit fee be increased; non-conforming <br />use of residential property; setting a number of beer permits <br />to be issued during the summer months; tournament team carrying <br />liability insurance for length of event. After lengthy dis- <br />cus~ion of items, clerk was instructed to draw up revised <br />regulations for approval at May 26th meeting. They are: <br /> <br />. ---------~-. . . <br /> <br />1. Hours of 3.2 Beer Sale: Saturday - 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM; <br />Sunday - 12:00 Noon - 8:00 PM. <br /> <br />2. Premises must be vacated by 10:00 PM on day of activity. <br /> <br />3. Sanitation facilities in form of portable satellite are <br />to be provided - two in number. <br /> <br />4. Damage deposit is required by City in amount of $200.00 <br />in form of cash, money order, certified or cashier's check. <br />No personal checks. Deposit will be returned to applicant <br />after ten day holding period. <br /> <br />5. Applicant for permit will appear before City Council <br />at least ten days before tournament. <br /> <br />6. Applicant is reuponsible for keeping traffic off of <br />LaValle Drive during activity. <br /> <br />7. The area should be policed during activity. <br /> <br />8. The area should be cleaned of debris, cans and bottles <br />when activity is finished. If the City maintenance man is <br />required to clean up area after event, the responsible <br />party for the tournament will be required to reimburse the <br />City for his services. <br /> <br />9. Insurance coverage. <br /> <br />10. The fee for 3.2 Beer permit is set at $15.00. <br />
