The general standard is that housing Is affordable if housing <br />expenses equal 30% or less of a person's gross household Income. Table 25 shows <br />that 22 percent of households in Centervllle that own their home spent more then 30% of <br />their income on housing costs. A similar pattern occurs In rental housing.
