Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation to Authorize Expending FWlds to Purchase <br />Replacement Equipment, Fall Protection & Drain-tile for Tracie McBride Memorial Park Renovation <br />Project -Not to Exceed $40,000 <br /> <br />7. Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation to Support Youth Summer Programs! Activities <br />(Wargo Nature Center & YMCA) -Not to Exceed $1,000 <br /> <br />Council Member Lakso requested Item 7 be removed for discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard-Vickers, seconded by Council Member Lakso to approve <br />Consent Agenda Items 1-6 and 8. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Lakso questioned whether these would be local programs. Council Member Lee <br />replied they would and uplained the program. <br /> <br />Earth Dav Cleanuo Aorill9t11 - Request Suoolies <br /> <br />The following request is on the web site. It will be put on the City sign closer to the event. <br /> <br />Earth Day Volunteer Opportunity! Join us in a local Earth Day project to cleanup our Centerville Parks! <br />We will meet at the Centerville City Hall (1800 Main Street) on Saturday, April 19th at 9:00 a.m. Garbage <br />bags, latex gloves and park locations will be provided at that time. Kids are welcome to join us - those <br />younger than 16 years old, please bring a parent!
