<br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Meeting Minutes February 6, 2008 <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, February 6, 2008 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br />held the regularly scheduled Wednesday, February 6, 2008 meeting at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Suzanne Seeley <br />Vice-Chairperson Kevin Amundsen <br />Committee Member Kevin Selander <br />Committee Member Lori Harris <br />Committee Member Patrick Branch <br /> <br />(illITi)@!p!p[f@W@@] <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Council: <br /> <br />Council Liaison Tom Lee <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> <br />Mr. Dallas Larson, City Administrator <br /> <br />Also Present: Mr. Mark Haiden and Ms. Savannah Lee <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />Chairperson Seeley called the February 6, 2008 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order <br />at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Branch, seconded by Viee-Chairpenon <br />Amundsen to set the agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion earried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Ms. Liz Guimont, Chain of L.k.... YMCA and Ms. Lisa Gilliland. Wanr:o Nature Center- <br />Summer ProlrnllllS <br /> <br />Ms. Liz Guimont was present to explain YMCA programs that might be offered in Centerville <br />this summer as Park Play Days. The YMCA would schedule two sessions of five weeks each for <br />4-12 year olds. Each session would be from 9-12, Monday - Thursday. Activities would include <br />playground time, crafts and water games. The YMCA may be willing to do a skate park program <br /> <br />lof4 <br />
