<br /> Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Meeting Minutes February 6, 2008 <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, February 6, 2008 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br />held the regularly scheduled Wednesday, February 6, 2008 meeting at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Chairperson Suzanne Seeley <br /> Vice-Chairperson Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Kevin Selander <br /> Committee Member Lori Harris <br />Committee Member Patrick Branch <br /> <br />Absent: <br />None <br /> <br />Council: <br />Council Liaison Tom Lee <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> Mr. Dallas Larson, City Administrator <br /> <br />Also Present: <br />Mr.Mark Haiden and Ms. Savannah Lee <br />__________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> 1. Roll Call <br /> <br /> Chairperson Seeley called the February 6, 2008 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order <br />at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Branch, seconded by Vice-Chairperson <br />Amundsen to set the agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Ms. Liz Guimont, Chain of Lakes YMCA and Mr.Todd Murowski, Wargo Nature Center – <br />Summer Programs <br /> <br />Ms. Liz Guimont was present to explain YMCA programs that might be offered in Centerville <br />this summer as Park Play Days at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. The YMCA would schedule <br />two sessions of five weeks each for 4-12 year olds. Each session would be from 9-12, Monday - <br />Thursday. Activities would include playground time, crafts and water games. The YMCA may be <br />willing to do a skate park program for older children. Ms. Guimont will check on that and report <br />1 of 4 <br /> <br />
