<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />BUDGET WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />WEDNESDAY. NOVEMBER 08.1995 - 5:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the <br />City of Centerville held a special meeting on Wednesday, November <br />08, 1995 at the City Hall. The purpose of the meeting was to <br />discuss the preliminary 1996 General Fund Budget. Mayor Tom <br />Wilharber called the meeting to order at 5:40 P.M. Present: <br />Brenner, Helmbrecht. Buckbee,Powers-Rasmussen. <br /> <br />Changes were made to the Public Works Budget. Since Public Works <br />Director Palzer was not able to be in attendance they would see <br />if he had any problems with this change at the next scheduled <br />meeting on November 21. 1995 at 5:00. <br /> <br />It was suggested by Brenner that copies of the proposed budget be <br />made available for residents to pick up at City Hall or send out <br />copies of the final budget in the Winter Newsletter. <br /> <br />Helmbrecht would create pie-charts. <br /> <br />The proposed budget as set would be an 11.2% increase. <br /> <br />After all figures were set the net tax <br />calculated to be .3969 with the preliminary <br />406,590. Attached is a copy of the preliminary <br /> <br />capacity rate was <br />levy amount set at <br />budget. <br /> <br />Motion by Buckbee, second by Helmbrecht to adjourn the meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously.
