He also suggested the City Attorney be asked to <br />address the question of liability incurred by the City for <br />allowing property owners to place objects in the street right-of- <br />way. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Dario to direct City staff to <br />notify all residents with objects placed within the street right- <br />of-way that the City of Centerville will not be liable for any <br />damage that may occur from City snow plows or other maintenance <br />equipment; <br />the letter is to be reviewed by the City Attorney <br />regarding any liability that may be incurred by the <br />City allowing objects to remain in the street right-of- <br />way, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Buckbee to direct City staff to <br />obtain examples of fence ordinances from other cities and draft <br />an ordinance for City Council review, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Community Development Block Grant for Parks. <br />Paul Palzer, Public Works Director/Building Inspector, presented <br />the City Council with a letter dated August 29, 1994 regarding <br />Community Development Block Grant funding. Mr. Palzer has <br />contacted JoAnn Wright, Anoka County, regarding changing the <br />scope of the project. Ms. Wright appears to not have a problem <br />with the changes. Mr. Palzer noted a change order from Palda and <br />Sons, may be necessary. A copy of this letter is on file with <br />the Clerk/Administrator. <br /> <br />Council member Helmbrecht noted she would like to review the plan <br />before proceeding. <br /> <br />Motion by <br />obtain a <br />Engineers; <br /> <br />Helmbrecht, second by Brenner to direct City staff to <br />breakdown of project costs from MSA, Consulting <br />
