CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MEETING <br />March 12, 2008 <br />8:30 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Mary Capra <br />Council Member Linda Broussard <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />Council Member Tom Lee <br />Council Member Jeff Paar <br />ABSENT: None <br />STAFF: City Administrator Dallas Larson <br />City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br />City Engineer Mark Statz <br />L CALL TO ORDER <br />~ ') ~ ', <br />~f, G <br />Mayor Capra called the March 12, 2008, City Council Work Session to order at 8:31 p.m. <br />II. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />a. Downtown Redevelopment -Beard Group Update <br />City Engineer presented options for the downtown redevelopment. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Mayor Capra requested the original Pavement Management Plan for review. She stated <br />she would like to know which streets were pushed back and which were scheduled for <br />2009. <br />b. 2009 Street Improvement Project/Pavement Management Plan <br />City Engineer distributed a copy of the 2009 Street Improvement Project/Pavement <br />Management Plan and discussed Option 1. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Councilmember Broussard-Vickers stated that she has an issue related to the requirement <br />to hook up to City water. She stated that if what the City is really trying to do is support <br />the City water system could be done a different way. She indicated that everyone <br />benefits whether they hook up to City water system or not. She recommended that an <br />
