<br />1- <br /> <br />to ensure proper review and consideration of any proposed amendment to the written <br />provisions of this chapter or zoning district boundaries. <br /> <br />(D) After the filing of an application, or initiation by the City Council, the <br />Administrator shall set a date for a public hearing. Notice of the hearing shall be posted <br />and published at least ten days prior to the date of the hearing, and notice shall be mailed <br />to each property owner within 350 feet of the proposed zoning district boundary <br />amendments. <br /> <br />(E) Upon hearing the request, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall <br />recommend either approval or denial of the proposed amendment and shall state the <br />reasons of the action. <br /> <br />(F) Within 30 days of the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />the City Council shall consider the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and shall approve, deny or modify the request to amend this chapter. <br /> <br />~~ 154.351 THROUGH 154.399 RESERVED FOR FUTURE EXPANSION. <br /> <br />~ 154.400 ENFORCEMENT AND VIOLATIONS. <br /> <br />The Zoning Administrator is directed by the City Council to enforce the provisions <br />of this chapter and maintain all necessary records pertaining to this chapter, including but <br />not limited to amendments, variances, complaints and violations. <br /> <br />~~ 154.401 THROUGH 154.409 RESERVED FOR FUTURE EXPANSION. <br /> <br />~ 154.410 FEES AND LICENSING. <br /> <br />Fees and licensing provisions, affecting the administration and enforcement of this <br />chapter, shall be established by resolution of the City CounciL The city does require <br />payment for its legal, planning and engineering expenses, resulting from the review of <br />proposed actions in the city. The City Council may require full payment of fees and out- <br />of-pocket expenses incurred in the review of proposed actions prior to taking fmal action. <br /> <br />~ 154.999 PENALTY. <br /> <br />Any person who violates or fails to comply with the provisions of this chapter shall <br />be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction may be punished to the maximum extent <br />allowed by law. Each day a violation exists constitutes a separate offense. <br /> <br />75 <br />
